There is only one month to go until the current eBay mandate deadline. Which means if you sell in any of the below categories, you should be updating your listings as we speak! By the 20^th July 2022, all existing and new listings must be updated with the correct item specifics.

Why does eBay continue to release new mandates?

When they come around, mandates might seem like a nuisance at the time, but are crucial to your long-term success as an eBay seller. Without item specifics, buyer experience would be long-winded and frustrating. By giving filter options, it smoothly guides a buyer through the purchasing process. eBay keeps an eye on these search habits to keep them relevant and as up to date as possible. If they see a significant change in what’s being searched for or filtered, eBay will add these to their mandatory item specifics.

• Type
• Item Height
• Item Length
• Item Width

Brand being one not to miss – as this is the most updated item specific in this category. So, if you sell LEGO® products, you won’t want to miss this mandate.
