We’ve just launched a new release, with some exciting new features for eBay sellers. Here’s a summary of what’s new:
New look and feel
You will notice this one first: the Optiseller site has been visually redesigned. It’s not just to make it easier on the eye, though. The changes also make it easier for users to find what they’re looking for in the tool. We’re sure it’s going to be a hit.
Regenerate report on Aspect Finder+
This is a pretty cool new functionality that is particularly useful for sellers. Basically, users will be able to regenerate their eBay listings from within Aspect Finder+, so they needn’t come out of the tool to make the changes.
Improved usability across the board
We have made lots of little improvements to improve the user experience. For example, we have removed the duplicates from the Listings Report and given it a general tidy-up. Also, when images are missing from a listing, instead of an error message, the tool now simply displays a “no image” image, and on Aspect Finder+, we have also adjusted the index page to fit the “Send to eBay” button, so it’s even clearer.
And on the developer’s side...
There are many other tweaks that users don’t get to see, but that are making the tool more robust. For example, we now use Sonarcloud, a development tool that should help us produce better quality code with less bugs, as well as enhanced security.
We have also made some changes on how we log errors, so we can be even better at improving our tools based on how they are used, and we have made changes to the dashboard to prevent errors from occurring.
