General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), effective from December 13, 2024, aims to ensure that products sold in the European Union (EU) and Northern Ireland (NI) meet stringent safety standards. This regulation applies to both new and second-hand products, requiring sellers to provide detailed product safety information. Key requirements include displaying the manufacturer’s name and contact information, or if the manufacturer is outside the EU or NI, the details of an EU-based Responsible Person.
