It won’t come as much of a surprise to many of you seasoned eBay sellers that there are newly required item specifics coming up for a range of verticals. Thankfully, eBay have given you warning in plenty of time. You can make the changes any time from today until the 22nd February 2022.

The sooner you get started, the better
We know that it can be tempting to sit back and let the time pass, especially in the lead up to peak trade season. There is plenty other things for you to get on with. But it is actually more beneficial to get ahead of these changes. The updated requirements for item specifics are designed to improve the buying experience for customers, but also the selling experience for you. The categories with mandated changes have been monitored by eBay and identified as having enough traffic to merit these additional item specifics. So, the sooner you make the most of them, the sooner you may see an increase in traffic to your listings. If you miss the deadline, you will be unable to revise your listings or list any new products. So this is worth doing now and saving you hassle in the future.
Get a head start
