The time has come once again for all sellers to get their Item Specifics up to scratch. Just 2 weeks after eBay's latest mandate deadline, they have announced more changes to come in May of this year. The affected categories are:
The exact requirements will be announced in early May. The deadline may seem far away, but the sooner you make those changes the better.
Remember, these changes have been put in place because eBay has detected that certain categories are experiencing an influx in searches and filtering. If you are selling in one of these categories it is in your interest to make the changes, so you can start to reap the rewards as soon as possible.
From May, these Item Specifics will be required soon, until they become Required further down the line. But both eBay and ourselves urge you to get on top of these changes before then. Don't let this become a task you put off until the last minute, as missing a deadline will risk your listings dropping from search.
